Your Friends Might be a Bad influence on your skin, sorry. Think about this, we all have that one friend with the gorgeous, non-textured even skin who can use just about anything on her face right? She’s got more rewards points from Ulta and Sephora than a fourth year English Lit student at Yale has Starbucks rewards. That’s a lot of points! But you’ve tried a few of her recommendations and were occasionally sorry that you did. Like the eye cream that burns even though you only dabbed it with your ring finger, the gentle face wash which left your skin tight and dry or the other way around. And that really cool black magnetic face mask that left your skin red and irritated for days. Girl, If you are that friend and you are reading this you might want to issue an apology to your dearest friends and SLOW YOUR ROLE! Let me do my job.
On the other hand, you may have that one girl friend who you don’t even recognize anymore. Her skin went from a peperoni pizza pie to skin so smooth and clear that babies get jealous. And that’s because she only takes beauty advice from her coolest, smartest girlfriend, AKA her beautician. Pun intended. The only thing she would recommend you to do is get in contact with me, I mean her, err her esthetician. ;) Well, whomever you decide to get in contact with, SHE is the best friend to be taking beauty advice from because she lets the pros do their jobs. And that is where the magic is.
Don’t get me wrong, I love when people share product testimonials and represent which brands they love! It helps make the world go-round, after all, sharing really is caring. Just be careful what you choose to try, especially if you have any specific concerns about your skin because what may work for one, may not work for others.
I hope you all enjoyed your thanksgiving festivities whether it was low key or with your entire clan!
