Hanacure You’ve heard of it. You’ve seen the before and after’s, and you’ve watched the countless you-tube reviews. But have you tried the Hanacure? For months, this South Korean miracle mask had been sold out and on every ones most wanted list! But I, like countless other curious beauty gurus, have finally gotten my face in “the all- in- one” miracle mask. I wondered if the claims of immediate visible results could actually be true. Skeptically, I know that there are a lot of consumer skincare products that have claims of immediate results. But how often do they deliver? I was also curious as to how this; One mask “fits all skin types” product, compares to a professional facial given by a licensed beauty expert like myself. I’ve been told that my Gifting Beauty treatment room is “magical”. My guests, which some of them might be you, benefit from 60-90- minute facial treatments that offer immediate results in texture, clarity, and rejuvenation. But what I always reveal to my guests is that the real magic is in maintaining your facial results on your own at home. Beyond the authenticity of my being a collector of fine skincare and beauty tools, I am often asked my opinion or advice on the latest product or treatment. And by nature, I analyze the skin first. So, one might ask if it is necessary to have a skin analysis before using the Hanacure product since it claims to work for all skin types. My response is yes, always. Especially when a before and after is involved because you always want to be able to note the comparisons. Packaging Clean, beautiful, and descriptive is how I perceive the Hanacure packaging. Upon opening, there is an instructional and educational booklet that explains what to expect, how it works and how to use. There is one single glass vial of lifting serum per gelling solution pack and one reusable applicator brush similar to what I use for facials. The scent is neutral. Application I cleansed my skin with control corrective 2% salicylic face wash because I am obviously breaking out. (I blame the break out on the Halloween🎃 sugar binge.) Then, I toned using a gentle botanical toner also from control corrective. Once the lifting serum and gelling solution were mixed I applied on my dry skin and let it sit for 30 minutes. Sensation Tightening and mild tingling is the only thing I felt. My skin is normal- dry with occasional breakouts so I’m sure the sensation I felt will be different from that of other skin types and conditions. After The mask was simple to remove! Soluble to water without leaving a trace and without having to repetitively rub the product off the skin. I did notice very mild sensitivity and redness. And I Also noticed that the inflammation in my breakouts were immediately reduced. Not gone, but reduced. I was hoping that the slight puffiness below my eyes would go down but it did not. I followed the removal of my Hanacure mask with my skincare regiment and found that my skin absorbed the product quicker than normal leaving my skin softer and more-supple. Conclusion I like this mask as a bi weekly or emergency home maintenance product between facials, but I certainly don’t think that it is the answer to all of your skin care problems and should not replace your esthetician! At $29 per single application I think it’s worth the price, and with holiday season approaching very rapidly it could be the perfect stocking stuffer for anyone.
